Agostino Pistolesi is a Corporate Development and CVC Investment Analyst at Sella Direct Ventures, where he supports both the firm’s strategic investment roadmap and broader Group M&A initiatives. On the CVC side, he is actively involved in sourcing and evaluating fintech startups across Europe – from Pre-Seed to Series A – and contributes to managing a corporate venture capital portfolio of over 45 companies, with a NAV exceeding €55M. His focus lies primarily in sectors such as Payments, Open Banking, and Embedded Finance applications.

Previously, Agostino was an Investment Analyst at Alchimia Investments – a venture capital-focused family office backed by Barletta Group, Annabel Holding, and other prominent Italian families – where he supported deal sourcing and execution across various tech-driven sectors. He began his career as an Associate at PwC, advising a major Italian banking group on the redesign of its Merchant Acquiring strategy.

Outside of work, Agostino is passionate about travelling and is a dedicated supporter of Scuderia Ferrari and AC Milan. Please avoid scheduling calls on Grand Prix Sundays or match days.
