Filippo Simoncini is a Venture Capital Analyst at Sella Direct Ventures, where he supports the team in its investment activities and fintech-focused roadmap. He is involved in sourcing and evaluating early-stage startups, with a focus on fintech, financial infrastructure and emerging technologies reshaping the future of financial services. He also contributes to managing Sella's corporate venture capital portfolio of 45+ companies, with a NAV exceeding EUR 55M.

Before joining Sella Direct Ventures, Filippo worked at a search fund, where his responsibilities spanned the full investment screening process, from sourcing and evaluating opportunities to financial analysis and due diligence. Prior to that, he worked in an HR-Tech startup, contributing to the redefinition of its growth strategy and gaining firsthand exposure to the challenges of building and scaling an early-stage company.
Outside of work, Filippo is passionate about travelling and proudly supports AC Milan and Ferrari in Formula 1.
